Human Exploitation and Resilience Program Hosts
Thai Partners for a Weeklong Project Planning Workshop
The Human Exploitation and Resilience program hosted their project partners from Thailand, Evident, SWING, and Equal Asia Foundation, at the Marron Institute in May for a research-planning workshop for their State Department-funded study, “Project Possible: Future-Proofing LGBT+ Livelihoods to Reduce Trafficking Vulnerability.” This study applies the Intervention Design Research (IDR) approach to research activities, testing, and trialing with LGBT+ target populations in Bangkok Province and Pattaya City, Chonburi Province, to rigorously measure the impact of activities on individuals. The team selected the populations that the intervention will target, identified risk and protective factors from initial mapping, identified opportunities and gaps in the existing service map, revised and adjusted the intervention theory of change, refined the intervention, and brainstormed approaches to measure impact.
