Kevin Cromar Speaks on Environmental Health
Research as Inaugural Speaker for NIA/NIH Speaker Series
Director of Health, Environment, and Policy, Kevin Cromar, was the inaugural speaker for the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) speaker series on “Translating Climate and Health Research Insights into Action.” In these monthly seminars, members from the United States and abroad explore the translation of scientific insights on climate and health into actionable interventions that reduce harms from climate change. Cromar presented key principles on increasing the impact of environmental-health research and a case study on how they were applied in incorporating health impacts in U.S. EPA’s climate economic and policy decisions.
