Meredith Dank Awarded Additional Funding to

The Human Exploitation and Resilience program has collaborated with the Freedom Fund to research the experiences of Ethiopian women who have traveled to Gulf countries for domestic work. Now, the Freedom Fund has awarded Director of Human Exploitation and Resilience, Meredith Dank, and her team additional funding to expand this work, with a focus on:

• Reviewing bilateral labor agreements that Gulf countries have with Ethiopia and following up with people working in those countries to solicit feedback for improving these agreements.
• Increasing awareness of this research by interacting with organizations and key people within Ethiopia as well as destination countries through workshops and interviews.
