Annual Director’s Update 2023

Dear friends, colleagues, and supporters,

The holiday season gives a moment for reflection and renewal. We look back on the moments that shaped us and feel inspired by the opportunities that await us in the coming year.

At Marron, we focus on bringing our faculty and scholars’ research to bear on real-world impact, measured as meaningful improvement to policy and practice in cities worldwide. In this year’s program highlights, we invite you to learn about the work our researchers are doing to make our cities more inclusive, less polluted, and better designed; build fairer justice systems; improve public transit; and, overall, improve the lives of the ever-growing share of the world’s population that lives in cities. 

This work wouldn’t be possible without our donors, who give generously to support our pioneering research and boots-on-the-ground efforts around the globe. Thank you—we believe in what we’re doing, and we’re honored that you trust us to use your resources to improve our shared future. If you haven’t already, please consider supporting us and the work we do; solving pressing urban challenges is one of the greatest levers for advancing human progress.
