Alain Bertaud Speaks About the Greater Bay Area

Senior Fellow Alain Bertaud spoke about the Greater Bay Area in a webinar hosted by Chartwell Capital, a Hong Kong-based investment firm. On regulations and deregulation, Bertaud notes:

I believe most cities should benefit from deregulation, but the objective is not deregulation.... What I advocate is to periodically do an audit of regulations and remove the ones which cannot be understood—you don't know what is the objective or the ones that clearly have a negative impact.
