BetaInnovation Research Scholar Opening

+

The Litmus team at the NYU Marron Institute of Urban Management is seeking a Research Scholar to lead innovative programs with governmental organizations. This manager will work with our practitioner partners to develop their ideas into implementable programs that can be tested. The manager will also develop new programs, seeking to extend our approach to innovation into new fields.

The Research Scholar should have at least 5 years of program management in the criminal justice sector. She or he should have displayed the ability for high level thought leadership as well as detailed program planning and execution.

The Litmus team is an intellectually diverse, create group. We don’t think academics have all of the answers and love learning from practitioners in the field. We’re excited not just by ideas but also by figuring out how to make ideas work in the real world.

Desired Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Masters degree in public policy, criminal justice, or related field
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience developing new criminal justice programs
  • Track record of team leadership
  • Ability to coordinate many stakeholders and move a project forward

Interested candidates should submit a resume through Interfolio.
