The Marron Institute at NYU is hiring a Budget Assistant. This role, part of the Director's Office, will support all of the Institute's research programming. The Budget Assistant will be responsible for monitoring the activity of complex budgets and maintaining financial databases. Responsibilities include preparing budget reports, monitoring financial data, and recording expenditures to ensure they are posted to proper accounts. The Budget Assistant will also establish financial records and files and ensure that they are maintained and updated on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience in finance or accounting, as well as proficiency with intermediate-level spreadsheet and word processing applications. Excellent attention to detail is required.
