Solly Angel Speaks on the Anatomy of Density

Director of Urban Expansion, Solly Angel, gave the keynote lecture, “Reflections on the Prospects for Urban Densification in Chile,” at a seminar, “Anatomies of Verticalization and Policies of Residential Densification in Santiago, Valparaíso and Concepción: Towards More Integrated and Sustainable Metropolitan Areas,” at the Institute of Urban and Territorial Studies of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago. Researchers at the university studying “verticalization” in Chilean cities have been using the methodology Angel developed at the Marron Institute on the Anatomy of Density.
