Meredith Dank Awarded Additional Funding

from U.S. Department of State for Tanzania Project

Director of Human Exploitation and Resilience, Meredith Dank, has received additional funding from the U.S. Department of State’s Prevalence Reduction Innovation Forum to expand her labor-trafficking research in Tanzania. Working with local partner COMHESWA (Community Health and Social Welfare Africa), the project aims to reduce forced labor among domestic workers migrating to the Middle East through prevention trainings, pre-departure education, and post-departure monitoring. The new funding will support additional participants, an expanded site in Zanzibar, and enhanced capacity building with government and community partners.
