Initiative to Build Safer Communities in Victoria

The NYU Marron Litmus Team is partnering with the Victoria (Australia) Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) on a newly announced initiative to build safer communities in neighborhoods that have been hard hit with increases in crime, especially involving youth, and other social challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal is to collaborate with community stakeholders, including young people and school leaders, on families’ pressing concerns and to improve community safety. Litmus joined DJCS-hosted community forums in Brimbank on November 27 and Craigieburn on December 11.
