Data Communication Research Assistant Opportunity

The Litmus program invites applications for a Data Communication Research Assistant at the NYU Marron Institute. The Litmus team plans to build a site with a data-visualization interface in the style of gogoldfields.org/data-dashboards/ and with visual interest that reflects the community being served.

The team is looking for a creative graduate student who understands data and how to communicate it well to diverse audiences. In addition, the student will have experience with:

  • Front-end web development (management of visual elements: fonts, color theory, etc.; CSS desired).
  • Data visualization or dashboard development.
  • Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
