An Update on New York City Boilers

On November 13, Professor Kevin Cromar was invited by the Utah Legislature's Air Quality Policy Advisory Board to present legislative priorities for the 2019 general session to improve air quality in the state. Six priority actions were identified, including: addressing air quality issues at the inland port under development in northwest quadrant of Salt Lake County, administrative issues dealing with the Utah Air Quality Board, and addressing economic burdens of existing vehicle emission inspection programs. Professor Cromar and Jim Holtkamp (Holland and Hart) presented these priority issues to the board and provided suggested amendments to the Utah Air Conservation Act for consideration.
