Nicole Porco is a graduate student in the Environmental Health Sciences program and works with the Air Quality program as a graduate research assistant. She recently completed an internship with the New York State Office of the Attorney General in the Environmental Protection Bureau, as a Science/Policy Assistant. She worked on issues including heavy metals in baby food, electric vans and trucks for delivery in New York City, and research for a legal case against JUUL for misleading the public on the risk of nicotine addiction among children. This internship complements her studies and her work as a graduate research assistant at NYU Marron, where she is evaluating congestion mitigation and air quality in the federal highway bill.
