Veterans are at heightened risk of justice involvement, but their numbers and the associated burdens of investigating this population yield poor guidance on providing optimal care. Targeted research and evaluation can identify effective resources, services, and treatments. We engage with correctional agencies to assess the extent of veterans in their systems, the value of specialized services, and the costs of healthcare.
