Rethinking Density with Patrick Lamson-Hall

Research Scholar Patrick Lamson-Hall was recently invited to host a webinar, Rethinking Density, on densification and sustainability with C40 Cities, a network of the world’s megacities committed to addressing climate change. Lamson-Hall addresses the new NYU Marron methodology for understanding densification, a critical tool to reduce GHG emissions. He also shares new research around the coordination of densification and orderly urban expansion to ensure that housing is affordable, that infrastructure and services can be provided cheaply and universally, and that all of the anticipated population growth is accounted for to ensure a significantly lower carbon footprint.
