Litmus’ BetaGov Receives Award

Director of Litmus, Angela Hawken, and her BetaGov team have been awarded a grant from the Victoria (Australia) Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) to provide technical assistance on strategies to improve public safety, in support of the DJCS Crime Prevention Strategy. BetaGov is advising DJCS on NeighborhoodStat as an approach to community problem solving, including how local-level data and mapping can be used to focus community deliberations on issues and solutions; piloting BetaGov’s practitioner approach to program evaluation; and options for a practitioner-focused platform for sharing information about successful crime-prevention practices.
