Director of Health, Environment, and Policy, Kevin Cromar, was an invited speaker at the 2022 NASA Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences Conference in Houston, where he discussed “Long-Term Visions for Wildland Fire Research in the U.S.” Cromar also arranged for a speaking invitation for African Centre for Clean Air’s (ACCA) Kellen Nyamurungi Namusisi, who is starting a PhD program at NYU’s Global Health program. Namusisi discussed “Closing the Gap with Satellite Data,” the focus of a new research collaboration between the Marron Institute and ACCA.
