Jodie Kirshner Receives Grant From ECMC Foundation

Jodie Kirshner, a Research Professor and legal scholar at the Marron Institute, received a grant award from the ECMC Foundation to research gaps in the public's understanding of college promise programs, ultimately informing the quality and effectiveness of the programs while also exploring alternative options for reform in higher education. Kirshner will carry out a detailed study of two representative promise programs in two major U.S. cities to look more rigorously at how the programs are performing on the ground, how students and their families are responding to them, and what we can learn from these national experiments.
