ATS Appoints Cromar Vice-Chair of Policy Committee
Dr. Kevin Cromar has been appointed to serve as the vice-chair of the Environmental Health Policy Committee for the American Thoracic Society (ATS). ATS is the leading medical association advancing pulmonary and critical care medicine and has over 15,000 professional members. He will serve with committee chair Mary Rice from Harvard Medical School and other committee members to monitor, evaluate the scientific rationale for, and propose federal and state policies that seek to control ambient air pollutants, occupational exposures, as well as mitigate the health impacts of climate change.
