Director of Civic Analytics, Constantine Kontokosta, received funding from the Real Estate Research Institute for an upcoming study, “Using Vehicle Registration Data and Machine Learning to Predict Neighborhood Change.” Along with Civic Analytics Doctoral Researcher Callie Clark, Kontokosta will examine whether differences in the types, brands, and models of registered vehicles over time can provide a dynamic, high-resolution signal of gentrification.
