Paul Romer on Shaping Future Cities

A recent epiode of Monocle's radio show The Urbanist featured an interview with Paul Romer about shaping our cities of the future.

"People will move into cities faster in (the next 100 years) than ever before or ever again…so we have a chance to shape what the urban environment will be like for billions of people," said Romer. "What matters hugely in the very early stages of setting up a city is the decision about what land is devoted to public space and what land is available for private use."
