Yue (Cora) Mao is a Data for Justice Summer Fellow in the Litmus program of the NYU Marron Institute and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at the NYU Center for Data Science. She graduated from NYU Abu Dhabi with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, with minors in Applied Math and Visual Arts. Mao is passionate about Data Analysis and Visualization, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. She is experienced in extracting insights from complex datasets and delivering the findings to a general audience. She is interested in solving open-ended problems through the data lens and analytical frameworks. Mao believes in the value of utilizing these tools to help shape better public policies and build more informed administrative agencies. Upon graduation, Mao looks forward to working as a Data Scientist on projects and products that improve people’s lives.
