Biography
Yasmeen Rifai is a Legal Research Assistant in the Human Exploitation and Resilience program at the NYU Marron Institute, where she supports research on human trafficking and gender-based violence. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Politics on the pre-law track, with a minor in Law and Society, at New York University. Yasmeen is particularly interested in gender-based justice, civil rights protections, and human rights advocacy and plans to pursue a career in law focused on advancing protections for vulnerable communities.
