Biography

Sophie Dornevil is a Public-Finance Student Fellow in the Litmus program of the NYU Marron Institute and a dual graduate student at NYU, pursuing a master of public health and a master of public administration in social impact, innovation, and investment. She graduated in 2021 from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in global & public health sciences and a minor in inequality studies. She is interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the socioeconomic factors that affect a community's development. And she is an avid movie watcher, particularly of social documentaries; her favorite recent films included And the Band Played On and Poverty, Inc.
