Biography
Rodrigo Kreis de Paula is a Data for Justice Summer Fellow in the Litmus program of the NYU Marron Institute,and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at the NYU Center for Data Science. He hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and a post-graduation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-MG). Kreis de Paula has more than 15 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, where he worked since 2014 for the Department of Finance in the City of São Paulo in various areas focusing on data storytelling, social transparency, open government, and budget, planning & finance. Rodrigo has always been attracted to integrating quantitative subjects and humanities topics. As a data enthusiast, he is fascinated by how it can be used as the foundation for developing high-impact projects and promoting social changes.
