Biography
Mengfei Wang is a Quantitative Research Assistant in the Human Exploitation and Resilience initiative of the NYU Marron Institute and a Master's Student in Applied Statistics for Social Science Research from NYU Steinhardt School. Her research interests focus on using advanced statistical methods and multivariate analysis to perform empirical researches that aim at advocating social justice for the vulnerable exploited. She holds a Bachelor of Science in both Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With prior experience in programming language and expertise in translating statistical information, she hopes to support the needed in the community through working with the research team on practical cases.
