She has experience in community-based participatory research in public health and creating digital interventions at Michigan State University’s Department of Public Health in Flint, Michigan. She has also worked at the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan and in non-profit development as an AmeriCorps member. Her research interests include data ethics and using data to empower communities of color. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Cultures and Politics at Michigan State University.
