Biography
Leo Shirky is a Fellow with the Transportation and Land-Use program of the NYU Marron Institute, and is currently working as an analyst at Deutsche Bahn E.C.O. North America. He graduated from NYU Shanghai in May 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Science and wrote his senior thesis on the relationship between proximity to transit and property values in New York City. He has been interested in urban transit and transportation planning for his entire life, particularly in New York City. He is the author of a blog called Secrets of the Subway, about New York City's transit system.
