Biography
Kevin Park is a Doctoral Researcher in the Health, Environment, and Policy program at Marron Institute of Urban Management and a PhD candidate in Environmental Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. His research includes exposure assessment of ambient air pollutants in urban centers, estimation of health risks associated with air pollution, and development of site-specific risk communication strategies. His current projects involve partnerships with federal and local government entities, UNICEF, and Kaiser Permanente group, aimed to develop and improve environmental policies and practices.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology and Science, Technology, and Society at Vassar College. Before joining Marron, Kevin worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a junior staff, assisting the development of Integrated Science Assessments and the agency's other air pollution related reports. He also has experience in providing technical expertise for the U.N. Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and North-East Asia Clean Air Partnership.
