Gina Gonzales

Biography

Gina Gonzales is an Assistant Research Scholar/Project Coordinator in the Health, Environment program, the Policy and Human Exploitation and Resilience program, and the Director's Office at the NYU Marron Institute. Previously she was an affiliated Scholar, Global Public Health in the Health, Environment, and Policy program and a Program Administrator for the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Program at New York University School of Global Public Health where she also coordinated. The Global Action for Urban Health Lab. Priro to that, Gina was a Program Assistant at The International Society for Urban Health (ISUH) where she helped in the coordination of the annual International Conference on Urban Health and served as the North America Regional Co-Coordinator for a WHO Global Mapping Project of Urban Health Research and Stakeholders. She is interested in studying the health impacts of climate change with a particular focus on these impacts in urban areas. Gina holds a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from NYU School of Global Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish from The University of New Mexico.
