Biography
Elizabeth Marcello is a Fellow in the Transportation and Land-Use program of the NYU Marron Institute and a Senior Research Analyst with Reinvent Albany, a non-profit and non-partisan watchdog organization that advocates for a more transparent and accountable New York State government. Her research focuses on city-state relations, economic development, and governance. Elizabeth is particularly interested in how public authorities fit into transparent and democratic planning processes.
Elizabeth has a master's degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a PhD in urban planning from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
