HERP has completed several projects across multiple regions, partnering with local organizations to address community-identified needs. These projects employed a community-based participatory approach, strengthening local capacity and creating sustainable systems that continue to benefit communities long after project completion. Funded by both federal and private foundations, HERP has carried out rigorous empirical research to address these issues with past projects in Belize, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Thailand, Nepal, Philippines, Uganda, and Vietnam.
