The HERP team has carried out several domestic projects in New York City and across the United States, with past support from federal agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF) and current funding from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). We collaborate closely with a diverse network of academic institutions and NGO partners to design, implement and evaluate this work. Our current NIJ-funded domestic project explores the scope and nature of forced criminality across the U.S.
