Romer on Urbanization in Colombia

Paul Romer recently traveled to Colombia as part of NYU's work with the mayors of fast-growing municipalities. While there, he spoke to the local media about the role of urbanization in the economic development process.

The highest priority for a rapidly growing city is to make the division between public space and private space for land that has not yet been developed but that is likely to be developed in coming decades.
