Paul Romer Speaks at AEA Nobel Laureate Luncheon
Marron Senior Fellow Paul Romer was honored at the American Economic Association Nobel Laureate Luncheon in early January. Chad Jones (minute 28:45) and George Akerlof (minute 39:00) gave remarks about Romer and his contributions to the field of economics. In his own remarks (minute 54:20), Romer expressed his gratitude for being able to pursue a career as an economist with a meaningful community, and noted that "it changes your life to be able to feel like you're a part of something that is larger than you."
