Laura Gladson Speaks on

Doctoral Researcher Laura Gladson presented work from the Health, Environment, and Policy program at the Cascadia 2023 Annual Symposium on Environmental, Occupational, and Population Health, a joint meeting of U.S. and Canadian researchers. Gladson spoke on the team’s translational collaboration with city managers in Quito to quantify local health risks from air pollution and evaluate Quito’s air-quality index. This study is part of a larger project with NYU, NASA, and environmental managers in Latin American cities to build air-quality research capacity in this understudied region.
