Kevin Cromar Participates in UN Meetings

on Global Heat Resilience

Director of Health, Environment, and Policy, Kevin Cromar, participated in the UN Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) at UN Headquarters, organized by the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) and the World Meteorological Organization Global Heat Health Information Network. GEO convened a wide range of partners to develop a Global Heat Resilience Service, expected to deliver city-specific information to inform public health, economic resilience, and sustainable urban development. Cromar addressed the role that health experts can play in developing the heat-resilience tools.
