Biography

Ms. Larissa Muller is Associate Professor of Environmental Design at the University of Calgary. She received her PhD from the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. She has consulted to governments, international organizations, and NGOs on urban economic and environmental policy issues in Southeast Asia. Her research interests include the spatial, economic, environmental, and social implications of urbanization processes in extended metropolitan regions, and the development dynamics of business service industries in major Southeast Asian cities, the topic of her dissertation research.
