Dena McAllister

Biography

Dena McAllister, A.B.D, is a Porgram Scholar in the Litmus program at NYU’s Marron Institute. Ms. McAllister is an educator who has worked in a variety of settings from kindergarten through college. With an emphasis on literacy remedial programs and students with disabilities, she has become especially informed about autism through years of experience with her own son. She has collaborated in research studies that investigated the effectiveness of using a case study design in the preservice teacher training program at Vanderbilt University. She serves as a liaison between Litmus and partner agencies in providing randomized controlled trial support. Ms. McAllister earned her M.A. degree and is A.B.D. from Vanderbilt University.
